I brain-stormed quite a few with Lesley-Anne before she finally agreed on one which wasn't too "embarrassing". Eunice, I'll confess right now, I borrowed the idea from the Garfield costume you made for Sean!
It was very simple to make. A regular black t-shirt and bicycle shorts, a mask copied from the internet and painted black, two cardboard ears stuck onto a black hairband, and a bag strap as a tail.
Tah-dah - Catwoman! I told her not to cross anyone at the party or they'll all end up with seven years of bad luck, hehe.

MEOWWWWWW...good job with the costume...I'm always at a loss when it comes to making costumes, just not creative at all.
ReplyDeleteAnd Lesley-Anne looks so grown up here.
Oooh... sexy cat-lady!
ReplyDeleteGreat costume! Glad I was able to contribute in a small way.
ReplyDeleteLilian: I know, esp when she wears my clothes, she looks like a mini grown-up! She has long stopped wearing girly dresses and clothes with cute prints. Kids... always wanting to grow up so fast!
ReplyDeleteYou know what Monica, she ain't no little girl anymore. She's on the cusp of womanhood. Quite poignant for us mummies (*tear running down the cheek*).
ReplyDeleteAnd I like the costume - very cute and restrained at the same time to suit her super sensitive modesty now.
This is a cool costume!! Good job!!
ReplyDeleteI just got a snow white costum from Hong kong for my 5yo, she can't wait to use it on the nite for the disney princess concert on the 20th. My 9yo, die die also refused for me to get her one princess costume. I was thinking may be dress her up as a prince....hmmm....just a smart white shirt with puffy sleeves and a pair of black puffy pants.
